Mark Payette is a CPA and brings more than 20 years of business and accounting expertise to the CIRQ+ Board of Advisors. Over his professional career as a CFO, he has overseen large financial and accounting operations across a broad range of industries and countries- from manufacturing to agriculture, to health and fitness as well as entertainment. This experience has enabled him to bring teams together at all levels of an organization for strategic alignment, turnaround leadership, and driving business results. He has significant proficiency in SEC reporting, M&A work, real-estate law, trademark and patent issues, and developing successful company strategies alongside various boards of directors. Mark is typically responsible for operating businesses with between $100-$500 million in revenues that are either publicly held or owned by Private Equity.
Mark currently serves on the Board of Directors of Worldmark by Wyndham as Secretary of the Board. Worldmark is a subsidiary of Travel and Leisure (NYSE:TNL), and operates over 100 large-scale vacation resorts across North America, the Caribbean, Australia, Micronesia and Europe generating over $400 million per year in revenue with more than a billion dollars in assets owned. Mark has worked as CFO at a variety of different companies including Bakersfield Renewable Fuels, AC Farms, Pacific World Cosmetics, and Grapeman Farms. Early in his career, Mark worked in entertainment and internet companies such as MySpace Inc., Beachbody, Geffen Music, Universal Music Group, and AOL Time Warner. Mark donates his time in his local community where he serves as a member and treasurer of the board of directors for the non-profit Kern Athletic Fencing Foundation. In addition, Mark serves as a Police Officer with the LAPD as a reservist.
Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.
