Anton Steenman followed a unique professional and leadership development path over 32 years at Intel Corporation serving in various sales, marketing, and general management roles, ultimately retiring from his VP/GM position in 2014. While at Intel he managed all P&L aspects of businesses ranging from $50 million to $2 billion in revenues. Grew Intel’s communications business from incubation to $500 million in seven years. Inspired organizations of up to 2,000 people worldwide. He served as CEO of the number one luxury brokerage and property management firm in Hawaii – Elite Companies.
He grew up in The Netherlands, where he joined Intel after completing his bachelor’s degree in computer science, a short stint at Siemens as a programmer, and military service. The journey at Intel took him from his sales position in The Netherlands to marketing and general management positions in Germany, the USA, Malaysia, and Hong Kong. Anton incubated several businesses at Intel, developing them into multi-billion dollar revenue streams; among them were Intel’s successful entries into the communications infrastructure, automotive infotainment, and Internet of Things market segments.
Over the course of his tenure, Anton served on the board of numerous industry associations and advisory committees, including the Telecommunications Industry Association, Industrial Internet Consortium, Intelligent Transportation Association, and the US DOT Advisory Council. After leaving Intel Corporation, Anton obtained his SEC/FINRA Series 79 & 63 investment banking licenses and spent four years completing several Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestiture, and Capital Formation transactions. In 2018 he moved to Hawaii to become the CEO of one of Hawaii’s largest, full-service luxury real estate companies, from which he retired in June 2023. Anton serves on several boards, including CIRQ+, Kitu Systems, and Gather Vacations. He lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, with his wife, Jacklyn, and their two cats Kai and Duke.
